Privacy Policy

How information is handled when you explore our website, follow an offer or get in touch.

Draft for reviewPrepared 11 October 2026 · Effective date pending

Privacy, in context

BestFuturesProp helps you compare providers. Opening a trading account, completing identity checks and paying a prop firm take place with that provider, under its own policies.

01About this policy

This policy explains how personal information is handled in connection with BestFuturesProp, a website that compares futures prop firms, account features and promotional offers.

It covers information associated with visiting the website and contacting its operator. When you visit a prop firm or another external service, that organisation’s own privacy policy applies.

What this notice covers

Reading a comparison on BestFuturesProp is separate from applying for an account with a prop firm. Questions about a provider’s identity checks, trading records or payment processing should be directed to that provider. This notice concerns the BestFuturesProp website and its own communications.

Before publication: insert the legal operator’s name, business address and country, and confirm the privacy contact.

02Information involved

Information you provide. If you contact us, your message may include your name, email address and any information you choose to share. Do not send trading passwords, identification documents or payment card details.

Technical information. Delivering a website involves network requests, including an IP address, browser information and requested resources. The hosting provider’s logging and retention settings need to be reflected in the final version of this policy.

Browser preferences. The current site uses session storage to remember whether you dismissed a promotional message. This preference is associated with the browser session rather than a trading account.

Messages and attachments

When reporting an incorrect price, a broken link or another issue, the page address and a short explanation are usually more useful than personal account records. If you attach a screenshot, remove account numbers, balances, login details and information about other people that is not relevant to your request.

You choose what to include in an enquiry. Without enough detail or a way to reply, it may not be possible to answer your question or investigate the issue.

03Why information is used

Information supplied in an enquiry is used to understand and respond to that enquiry. Technical information may be needed to deliver the website, diagnose errors and protect it against misuse, depending on the hosting configuration.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, the applicable basis must be identified for each actual use. These may include consent, a legal obligation or a legitimate interest that has been assessed against your rights.

Practical examples

Answering a question. We use the message and reply address you supply to continue the conversation.

Investigating a website issue. We review the affected page and relevant technical details to understand what went wrong.

Remembering a display choice. We use the preference saved for the browser session to keep a dismissed promotional message closed.

These are distinct purposes. A technical preference does not, by itself, explain or authorise an unrelated use of personal information.

Before publication: confirm the actual processing purposes and their legal bases. Do not add marketing, profiling or analytics purposes unless those services are enabled.

04Cookies & browser storage

Cookies and browser storage can remember preferences or support additional services. The current dismissal preference uses session storage. You can manage or clear browser storage through your browser settings.

The current pages also request the Archivo font from Google Fonts. Loading an externally hosted font sends a request to that provider, which receives technical information needed to deliver the resource.

Optional analytics, advertising or tools that record browsing sessions need their own accurate disclosure and, where required, consent before use. This draft does not assume that these tools are installed.

Managing your browser preferences

Clearing site storage can reset saved display choices, so a dismissed message may appear again. Browser settings apply to the device and browser in which you change them. They do not automatically change settings on another device or on a prop firm’s website.

A privacy policy describes data practices; reading it is not a substitute for a separate consent choice where one is required.

Before publication: complete the storage inventory and confirm any consent controls, analytics tools and embedded services added during integration.

05Providers & external links

Website hosting and email services can process information needed to deliver their respective services. The final policy should identify the provider categories and the services actually used by BestFuturesProp.

Some links may be affiliate links. A destination website or an affiliate provider may record a referral when you follow such a link. Review that provider’s policy before registering, purchasing an evaluation or submitting personal information.

Any disclosure required by law, or needed to establish or defend a legal claim, must have an applicable lawful basis.

When you leave BestFuturesProp

Following an offer link opens a service operated by another organisation. That service determines what information it requests and how it handles a purchase, registration or support request. Its privacy notice and cookie controls should be reviewed separately from this page.

Before publication: confirm hosting, email and affiliate providers, their processing locations, and any applicable safeguards for international transfers.

06Retention & security

Personal information should be kept only for the period necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal requirements. For correspondence, relevant criteria include whether the enquiry is resolved and whether a record is needed for a legal claim.

Security measures must be appropriate to the information and the risks involved. No online transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Different records, different needs

A resolved support conversation, a temporary browser preference and a security log do not necessarily require the same retention period. The final retention information must distinguish these records, including any relevant backup cycle or legal requirement that delays deletion.

Before publication: confirm actual retention periods or criteria for messages and server logs, and the security measures in place.

07Your choices & rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be entitled to access your personal information, request correction or deletion, restrict processing, object to certain uses, or receive a portable copy of eligible data.

If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, use the privacy contact once it has been confirmed below and describe what you would like us to review. Identity checks should be proportionate and limited to what is needed to handle the request.

Making a useful request

Specify the right you want to exercise, the email address used to contact the website and, if possible, the approximate date of the relevant conversation. Avoid sending an identity document unless a proportionate verification method has first been agreed.

Where a right applies, the request must be handled within the period set by the applicable law. Some requests may be subject to exceptions, such as retaining information needed to meet a legal obligation.

08Updates to this policy

This policy should be updated when the website’s services, providers or data practices change. The current version and effective date will be shown on this page.

Where required by applicable law, material changes will be communicated separately before they take effect.

Checking the current version

The effective date helps you identify the version that applies. If a new service changes how information is collected or shared, its description should be added to the relevant section instead of relying on a general reference to future services.
